We strongly recommend that applicants apply to more than one school, including their closest school.
GRADE 1 APPLICANTS:
All applicants will be notified via email of the outcome of their application. Pupils who are accepted into Grade 1 will be required to pay an additional fee for stationary and PE (sports) clothing.
GRADE 2 – 7 APPLICANTS:
Parents will be notified via email in the fourth term should place become available .
NOTE:
The preferred contact method must be clearly indicated on your Seamount on-line application form (available from the school). This will be informed via email on the outcome of the application. Appeals must be submitted in writing within two weeks of the outcome of the application to: admin@seamountps.co.za
Applications will only be accepted if copies of all documents below are present:
- A copy of the compulsory on-line application form as well as the signed Seamount on-line admission for (available from the school)
- Birth Certificate of applicant
- Both Parents ID Documents (in the case of Guardianship we require court documents as well as the Guardians ID Documents)
- Clinic Card/Proof of immunization (if a clinic card cannot be produced the applicant must report to the nearest clinic for immunization, or get a doctors letter confirming that immunizations are up to date), this is applicable to all application, regardless of Grade.
- Proof of residence (utility bill/lease agreement – affidavit will only be considered if written by the owner of the property with a copy of their latest rates account)
- Last school report. Compulsory for all Grade 2 – 7 applications. In the case of Grade 1 applications the Pre-Grade R report is acceptable.
- Information form from current/previous school, this should be supplied with your Seamount application.
NON-SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS MUST ALSO SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:
- Copy of valid study visa and passport of parents and the prospective learner
- Bank stamped letter proving the applicants bank balance
- Proof of medical cover
