Coding & Robotics Club: Grade 1 – 2

Seamount Primary School hosts Coding and Robotics for Grade 1 and 2 every week. The learners are beginning to learn the basics of input-coding, process development and its relation and application to robotics. Coding and Robotics focuses on developing higher-order thinking and problem solving skills, necessary skills for the 5th industrial revolution! The Grade 1 and 2 learners are having loads of fun while learning a very valuable skill for the future.

Eco-Club: Grade 4-7

Cultivating Environmental Stewardship
The Seamount Primary Eco -Club is a vibrant community of students who share a passion for the natural world and a commitment to environmental sustainability. Our club provides a welcoming space for students to explore their fascination with animals, discover the wonders of nature, and learn practical ways to reduce their ecological footprint.

Chess Club: Grade 4-7
Chess is a game that benefits learners in many areas of life; improving critical thinking, problem solving, and social skills. It has the unique ability to combine focus, concentration, imagination, coordination, and teamwork, all at the same time.
Art Club: Grade 2-7
Seamount Primary offers an Art Club for select learners after school. Here Seamount’s artists gather to develop their artistic skills and passion for the arts. Using a variety of mediums, our learners express themselves in the second and third dimensions. For a small fee each term, learners are entered into various Eisteddfods and competitions where they achieve nothing less than excellence. All artwork is either used to decorate our school or the homes of our learners.
Extension Club: Grade 4-7
Seamount has a very exclusive and prominent Extension Club, membership is by invitation only. This is a club that thrives on diving into the unknown and exploring. We participate in various Mathematics and Science competitions. Our learners enjoy discovering, learning, and creating. Soon we will have our own computer technology and take over the world!
